One of our favorite garden perennials. The rich, blue to blue-purple flower plumes are stunning at the back of a garden bed. The flower-laden spikes are a dramatic thriller in cut flower bouquets. This extremely hardy perennial can take almost any weather thrown at it from bitter cold winters to smoldering summers. 

1st year seedling will bloom in the 2nd year.
