This is one big squash that grows on sprawling vines. The fruit consistently reaches between 18 and 25 pounds in weight in our garden. Blue Hubbard and Ambercup Squash make the best squash soup, in our humble opinion. Blue Hubbard can keep up to 6 months in a cold, dark place. We harvest in September and have one at Thanksgiving, one at Christmas and sometimes one at Easter! A delicious squash that does not disappoint.
